Photoshop Atem Export plug-in for M1

PostSat Apr 17, 2021 10:40 am

Hello Blackmagic, please provide Atem export plug-in for Photoshop 2021 v22.3 with Apple Silicon (M1) support. Currently the plug-in does not occur in PS.

Any updates on this issue? Same problem here with Photoshop 22.3.1 running on Mac OS 11.2.3 (M1)

Yes, I did reinstall the Atem software. Unfortunately no success. We downgraded Photoshop to version 22.2.0 to get it working again. So it could be a bug in the new version of Photoshop - or the Atem plugin is simply not compatible with future versions of Photoshop anymore. Would be great if BM could give an update on this issue.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Re-Installed Atem Software 8.6.1. after Photoshop, Plugin does not show in the export options list.

Gear: Mac M1, OSX 11.4

Photoshop is Version 22.4.1.

adobe has its back to the wall.

every software gets an update at least once a week,
which makes more mistakes than it helps.

so i hope that blackmagic will release an ATEM plugin for
affinty photo soon and we can finally delete photoshop.

when adobe announced it was leaving macOS a few years ago,
I was one of those who cried out.

now it would be a blessing +g*

Adobe left the Mac OS? Odd comment it seems to me. Gee, they support M1 and all sorts of new Mac hardware ...

No. And I've no clue what it even means.

I'm wired into Adobe's video apps and people. Have been for years both in person NAB and MAX and via personal communications.

I teach color work in Premiere Pro at MixingLight.com for those stuck with color in a PrPro project.

Their engineers are mostly Mac people who can get by on a PC. They're running both PC and MAC OS in all products. And for new things, if it comes in one OS first, it WILL be in a Mac OS, like many devices apps.

So what exactly are you referring to about Adobe's leaving Macs?

Any news on this? This is highly disruptive as it's my only reason for keeping an Intel Mac around.

I found a solution the issue lies with photoshop updating the way they handle plug-ins in M1. What you want to do is open photoshop using Rosetta. By going to Applications opening the photoshop folder and right clicking photoshop selecting Get Info and you should get under general the option to open using rosetta next time you open photoshop the export option will be there.

I'd rather blackmagic came up with a plugin for the GIMP...
