Marshall CV605 - Adv Broadcast Panel

PostFri Jan 21, 2022 5:24 pm

I currently have an ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4k with the Advanced Broadcast Panel.

I'd like to control a new Marshall CV605.

This is our first venture into PTZ control with the ATEM. What do I need in terms of cabling/adapters/converters? I'm totally comfortable with soldering up a cable... I just need to know the pinout. (I can't seem to find a pinout anywhere.)

Is there anything other than a cable that is needed? For example do I need to convert RS 232 to/from 422 for the CV605?

Once connected, are there any "secret settings" other than VISCA that I'll need to manage?

I'm starting from scratch here.

Thanks

Helpfull info about the Visca integration here>> viewtopic.php?f=4&t=61265&p=352368#p352368

But for real.. Buy a PTZ controller. Because BMD only implemented Pan Tilt & zoom.. No controls for focus, shutter, iris, color control or even presets set and recall..

So basically it's pretty useless ;)
