ATEM - NEW feature wish list

PostFri Jan 28, 2022 4:22 pm

I'm curious what NEW features people want to see in the next generation of ATEM Mini/Extreme ?
Hardware and ATEM Software Control.

A working Stinger button. Media players that can play videos. Name and password entry boxes for streaming providers. Headphone and microphone jacks located directly behind their controls. A protected on/off switch. Upstream keys that can be faded in/out.
Resolve Studio 17.4.5, Threadripper 24-core, 64 GB RAM, 2 TB NVMe, Nvidia FE RTX 3080 10 GB. ATEM ME ISO.

They already can be - just set your next transition to only include the keyer you want to fade out / in and then run your chosen transition (not limited to fades, you can use wipes or any of the other transition types).

You can also record this into a macro and assign it to the macro buttons on the Extreme or use something like Companion to trigger it with a stream deck if you want hardware control.

From an ATEM Facebook User:

"..........4 hdmi and 4 SDI inputs, 2 hdmi and 2 SDI outputs, video playback from an external SSD instead of needing a hyperdeck, expanded media pool beyond 20 images, streaming to custom RTMP without needing to edit an XML file and the ability to route any camera input to any button on the atem like the video hub."

and from me: a small list of lower 3rd templates to be able to create and switch in on the fly. Even simple build in and out automation.
