Any decent digital audio mixer should be able to add a delay to any of it's independent outputs. They usually go up to 250ms or even more. That's roughly 15 video frames at 60fps or 7 video frames at 30fps.

Hi Marco.

As you said many devices can offer delay. But I wonder if products from video manufacturers (AS22S Rane, VA-256xl Kramer...) have something more than common delays.

What more do you want?

Both devices that you mention seem to be able to delay the audio and could be be a good solution in case your audio mixer does not offer that possibility.

devil is in the detail

You put an end to my interrogation : If video manufacturers offer the same delay (and functions) as audios manufacturers my UI24 mixer will be enough ;)

Not sure what you mean... A quick glance at the manual of that mixer shows that it has a delay function on the MAIN L and MAIN R outputs.

In short, if delay products sold by video manufacturers do not have specific functions (as you said), I will use delay included in my mixer ;)

thanks for your advice.
