Color grading/correction

Dumb question...

I'm live streaming from a

Canon C500 Mark II connected
through:
Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Mini Thunderbolt 3 Capture & Playback Unit

connected via thunderbolt to blackmagic WDM capture software on a PC

If i want to color correct, what are my software/hardware options? (cost is no limit)

I already bought my colorchecker passport, but not sure where it goes

Vmix maybe.. You can do software color correction and then also stream with Vmix.

If you have a consistent setup, you could come up with a grade in Resolve, and then export a LUT to use in your streaming software. Much easier than being ready to live grade.

In a consistent setup, you can also use hardware für color correction. You can for example create a LUT in Resolve and load it onto a Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 12G. That way color correction won't eat up CPU capacity on your streaming computer. If a single 3D LUT isn't enough, there are devices like the AJA ColorBox that implement a complete color management workflow for a single 12G SDI signal.

The Canon RC-V100 is a paint box for the C500. There’s also Pomfort Livegrade If you want a software approach that offers secondary correction on the wire.
