Constellation 8K Input

This may be a silly questions but here goes!

On the Constellation 8K switcher, can I set it to run at 2160p 29.97, but still receive some 1080p 29.97 signals from legacy gear?

I see this on the tech specs but wasn't sure if that meant it allowed different signals at the same time, just want to confirm one way or the other.

"SDI Auto Switching
Automatically detects between level A and level B 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI. Requires 2SI in 8K mode."

Yes, we have a system that (was) set for 2160p30 and had to accept 1080p30 from the CG software to support key/fill (4k would only give us fill on both channels)

So you were able to mix and match 4K and HD at the same time?

Rich : All Constellation switchers have framesynchronizers/Scallers on all inputs .. So u can combine different resolutions and fps on inputs and everything will work ..

Beautiful, I thought that was the case, but wanted that extra confirmation.
