Atem Mini Pro Program Output Vía Ethernet

PostMon Sep 25, 2023 10:12 am

Hi! I'm using Atem Mini pro outputs this way:
- HDMI output: Multiview
- USB-C output: SSD recording
- Ethernet: internet switch. This allows me both streaming and control the mixer with a PC connected to the same switch.
- I use OBS as an input for video playback and lower thirds.

The thing is that I would like to have another monitor with program signal without losing any of this outputs. I thought about Atem Streaming Bridge, but since I can't stream to multiple platforms and I stream directly from the Atem, this is not an option.

I thought about having another PC on the same network and use NDI to get the signal, is this possible? Could a chromecast get the signal and show it on a TV?

You can stream to your own custom RTMP server (nginx, owncast or even just ffmpeg) and then re-stream from that. There will obviouly be a bit of latency.

Can’t you just log into your stream?

Good Luck
