Hi to all,

I'm new to BMD and I'd like to create an Arduino based controller for my gear.
I'd seen tons of video and libs and example on the web but no one had success for me.

Any time I try to compile had various error.
There is anyone that may help me on which version of IDE and Lib to use for have goal?

there was a large update to the protocol when BMD switched to version 8 of the software.
perhaps the library you used hasn't been updated

Skaarhoj had a library for Arduino. But it's not supported anymore and will not work.

The protocol is officially not released and not supported by BMD at all. So the best way is to buy a controller that works. From BMD, or a 3rd party vendor. Mix-it, Skaarhoj etc..

But the cheapest solution is a Streamdeck With Bitfocus Companion. It works perfectly and also allows you to add control for other hardware too. Software is free!!
Streamdeck is not that expensive anymore..

I'd seen about streamdeck and companion... It should be a solution but anyone had experiences with streamdeck XL on companion?
I need more button on same time.
On web there is a single tutorial (nothing about configuring it) and i think that companion only map 12 button per page...

Also I'll study the protocol to realize my own controller. I like to build electronics device...
