Is there a setting to dim the led lights of the buttons on the atem mini?

No there is not!! But the hardware does support it.. BMD just needs to put it in there FW / Software to control it. ;)

I also believe the LED's are WAY too bright for many productions were it is almost complete dark..

So +10 for a Dim feature

This is certainly an off the wall solution, but nevertheless you could disassemble the switcher enough to place ND film or similar material over the offending LED’s.

Instead of taking the ATEM Mini apart, what about a piece of dark gel attached to a frame supported over the ATEM Mini?
