ATEM Mini Pro with Vimeo

PostThu Apr 23, 2020 2:51 am

Hi boffins!
Anyone out there streaming straight to Vimeo through the ATEM mini pro?
So we managed to edit the XML file to stream to Vimeo at 60 frame & 8 bitrate and essentially the stream is working fine for the consumer. But for some reason, Vimeo is showing the stream as 'unstable.'
It's not the internet, as using the Livestream software shows a perfect stream. Streaming through the webcam, same. It's just the stream direct from the ATEM.
Has anyone else encountered this, and has any advice?
Have we mangled the XML?
Cheers,

I'm attempting to do just that! Where is the XML file you are talking about? Will this add Vimeo to the list of streaming options? Thanks!

Take a look at this thread for additional information and a video for editing the ATEM XML file to stream to additional destinations such as Vimeo:

In cases where Vimeo or another streaming provider shows the incoming stream as unstable, I would probably check your available network bandwidth and perhaps try lowering the bitrate you are streaming at. Usually streaming platforms report these kinds of issues when incoming streaming packets don't arrive at a fast enough rate or if packets are dropped or lost in transit, which is most commonly due to network issues.
