Received ATEM Mini Pro, a few suggestions

I received ATEM Mini Pro today, which is great!

1. The backlight of the button is too bright. If it is in a very dark operation room, it will be very dazzling.

2. It's even better if Type-C can choose to output a multi-screen preview, I don't know if it can be achieved through software upgrade

3. The function of PiP is not very easy to use (maybe the operating logic is not yet understood)

4. The function of Key is not very easy to use (maybe the operating logic has not been understood)

5. I do n’t know if the 1, 2, 3, 4 buttons can show green, if you can choose P / V mode, switch through Cut / Auto, it will be better at some times
-------------------
Found the setting, supported. However, "Cut" may need to be further "debounced" processing, sometimes press 1 will become 2
------------------
Press hard to avoid

6. Whether the "BLACK" button can be defined as media or set in other colors

7. Whether the preview position of multiple windows can be adjusted or dragged
-----------------
The manual says that it supports multiple layouts, each window can be defined, but my version is fixed (V8.2.1)

8.It is hoped that the panel on the right side of the ATEM software control finally supports touch scrolling, otherwise it is inconvenient to use thin side scrollbars on the touch pad

9.When the number of channels is the same, it is not necessary to turn off the backlight of "cut" and "auto". Especially because the backlight is particularly bright, it will cause eye discomfort when it is on or off

10.If type-C to HDMI output is supported, which solves the output problem of PGM HDMI!(USE Type-C to HDMI adapter)

11.I found that without headphones is also an imperfect place, especially when all the live broadcasts are done in one machine

Ref your Qs #2/10 USB output is limited, can not be a Multiview or video program (uncompressed) output. see viewtopic.php?f=4&t=113331&p=624922#p624922
Cheers

I think it's acceptable to have a lower picture quality and a proper delay. After all, this is not a broadcast level device. Now, the second solution we can think of is to connect the computer as the camera input and then output the full screen

Multiview on USB-C would be GREAT!!!

Even if lower quality it would make ATEM MINI Pro perfect.

I also agree with buttons brightness: it's too high.

I would rather see the multi-view as an app that can be used on a pc using a network connection just like the ATEM control program. The same code would work on many of the ATEM models. Why tie up the USB.

Bump for brightness! dimmable backlight pleeeease! I want to use it for live streaming in my color suite and it's just too bright.

Also- can it be powered via PoE? could it? would be nice to have one less wire.

and in future physical revisions
-headphone jack for audio monitoring
- 2nd HDMI out for program feed would be killer

Nice.

That would open the Atem ecosystem to simple remote operation. Maybe not simple, more one-stop shopping.

Good Luck

Don't think about POE, it is not a professional network equipment after all, the backlight is really too bright and too bright, I hope it can be adjusted through software update!

There are actually 3 POE specifications. From my day-job knowledge, let's just say you really don't want the Mini-Pro to go that direction.

Why are the buttons so bright on the ATEM Mini Pro? The glare (and slight flicker) is terrible. Brightness adjustment was the first thing I scoured the manual for but I didn't find a way to adjust it. Is there really no way to adjust the brightness? Seems like a "one size fits all" mistake if it can't be adjusted.
