Here's how to get a local program feed out from ATEM MIN

Not enough characters in the title to explain what I'm talking about lol

So when using the multiview on the ATEM mini Pro or preview on the original you cannot get a second Program feed out

OR CAN YOU!

Some of you may know this trick but I'm just passing it along if it helps.

In order to get both preview and program you need a computer and OBS (or any webcam capturing software). You will also need to be able to output a second screen from that computer into whatever destination you want. In OBS after you add the ATEM MINI as a webcam you can then use projector mode to output the video to a second screen.

So here is my setup

ATEM MINI Pro -
HDMI Out, multiview into an HDMI monitor
Ethernet connection for live streaming
OBS capturing the Webcam on a computer and then outputting it through an HDMI adapter on the computer into a video switcher.

I'm hoping that there will be some kind of hardware USB C to HDMI adapter coming soon that will make the computer unnecessary but for now this works like a charm. The delay is about the same as you see in the OBS preview window.

So this obviously isn't ideal for live IMAG but at my church we will use this setup to send video into our cafe's. It will be a few seconds delayed but no one will care or even know.

If there is a way to do this with a raspberry pie or something simple like that I would love to find that out too

What do you guys think?

Why do you want the preview over USB just asking?

Ok well by what I laid out here you could just reverse that and use the HDMI out for preview and then OBS for program and then take the OBS screen and output through HDMI from your computer
