ATEM1 USB3 to MacBook Pro

I want the Atem1 USB3 program output to my MacBook Pro USB3, to see it in Resolume-VJsoftware.

Does the Atem1 finally work on Mac OSX?

My specs:
MacBook Pro, late 2012
OSX 10.8.4

When I plug in the USB3 Atem1 cable to my MacBookPro, I see in System Report under USB:

Why is it not working?

Why do people on forums say the IntensityShuttleUSB3 (also not supported on Mac in the first place) DOES work on Apple MacBook with latest driver? And Atem1 not...? Isn't it the same interface??

There is a BETA release of the desktop video drivers for Mac that has support for usb3. For whatever reason there is something different and this is how blackmagic has done it. Hopefully that support will be added for other devices too.
