Powerpoint to ATEM-1

Can you send power point to the switcher. We are going from vga to cat5 for 200ft. then back to vga and converting that to hdmi. Tried going in HDMI on switcher, but couldn't get the signal. Is it possible to do?

It is possible - but (as you hopefully know) the ATEM does not scale or convert any input. Everything must be presented to it in the format it is expecting. I don't know anything about the particular configuration you mention (Cat5 extender).. so that is an unknown.

I prefer to use a VGA-HDMI scaler as that allows me to convert any input signal to the format required. The Atlona HD500 is a good solution.
