Screen Ratio issue with ATEM Mini + BMPCC 6K

Hi everyone - I hope someone can help me out.
We just bought two BMPCC 6K and ATEM Minis to do live streams and recordings at our university. However, I have run into a problem after upgrading the firmware of the cameras.
Connecting the cameras to the ATEM Mini before updating the cameras, it was possible to select a full 16:9 ratio for the connection from the cameras, such as 6k, Ultra HD and HD. After updating the cameras, I am only able to select from the Sensor Windowed modes (17:9). This is very annoying when coupled with a screen presentation (16:9), since all the live video will have black bars at the top and bottom.
Does any know how to make it possible to select a 16:9 ratio output from the camera using the latest firmware upgrade?
Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone.
The above issue was related to the HDMI cable. The one I was using did not support 6k. Switching it to a higher quality cable resolved the issue!

Hi, I'm also running into this issue where once I plug the BMPCC 6K to the Atem Mini Pro, it doesn't give me an option to select a 16:9 ratio output resolution from the camera, which leads to black bars at the top and bottom. I tried switching to a higher quality HDMI 2.1 cable but that didn't fix the issue. Any thoughts on what could help?

I'm trying to use the same setup, having the same issue.
I can try buying another HDMI. I do see most output options disabled when connected to the ATEM.

This is driving me crazy. At first I was upset I could only record RAW, but now I know why. This format problem doesn't make sense. I have 4 BMPCC6K pros going into an ATEM Mini Pro ISO. That I am limited to 16:9 on the ATEM is one thing, but not being able to select a 16:9 aspect on the cameras is maddening. I am trying to deliver the product without post production but this letterboxing is maddening.

I found the solution. When filming live with the bmpcc 6k or 6k pro the HDMI will not output at 1920x1080 at 50/60 fps. So if you setup your Atem to run the stream at those settings it will disable them in the camera menu. Only supported options will be shown.
Before plugging the camera in, access the ATEM Software Control 1st and click the gear at the bottom left of the screen. Change the settings to be 30fps or lower and click save. Now your stream is set at that resolution, so plug the camera in and you will now have the option to select 6k which will be 16x9 uncropped.
This was a lot of trial and error so wanted to share what I found.
