ATEM 1M/E USB 3 support on MAC?

I have been using a ATEM 1M/E switcher for a little while now, being controlled via a mac. I purchased a new mac book pro with the new USB 3 ports. I know on PCs the USB output is able to be recorded via media express, is the same true on the macs?
