Software Control Transition defaults using space bar

I’m trying to use the space bar to transition between preview and program and only see cut option for transition style. Is there a way to change to fade or mix by defaut?

In the ATEM Software Control panel, there is a row of Transition Style buttons that control the style of the next transition. The transition style can be set to Mix, Wipe, Dip, etc.
When actually triggering a transition from preview to program, there are two buttons in the software control panel CUT and AUTO. Pressing the CUT button will do a hard cut, using the AUTO button will use the configured transition style and rate.
When using a keyboard for control, CUT transitions are triggered by the Spacebar and AUTO transitions are configured by pressing the Enter or Return key on the keyboard.
