3 x Decklink cards in a Mac Pro?

Hi!

I'm helping build a live capture rig for an upcoming theatre show where we need 8-12 x 4k SDI ins, and 4 x 4k HDMI ins.

I'm looking at a Mac Pro with 2-3 x DeckLink 8K Pros and 1 x DeckLink 4K HDMI.

Will this number of cards work fine together? Is there a limit to how many DeckLink cards I can use? (other than the obvious PCI slot limit)

one thing is bus width .. second thing is CPU power for record 8-12 4K streams .. what format do U want to record ?

Ah sorry my original question was a bit vague. I just want to mix live, no recording, no streaming.
