Can you use the new Fairlight Desktop Console together with an Atem Mixer for a live production set up (livestream, hybrid event) ?

Not at this time. We have no information regarding the possibility of doing this. Stay safe

I'd guess it would require a different firmware on the console, or a different personality of the firmware, which is possible, but not done (yet ?)

It's a pretty steep price for a Macie controller though. Which is not something I say about BMD very often.

Yeah but that's all you would need for controlling the ATEM (which was the discussion :D )

From the ATEM Constellation page: “With a built in Fairlight audio mixer, the ATEM Constellation makes it possible to do extremely complex live sound mixing... All this audio power can be controlled via the ATEM Software Control, a Mackie compatible panel or Fairlight Audio Console.”

they should be technically the same, as they should be using an identical protocol, with various capabilities in terms of controls

Here is my vote for a version of the Fairlight Desktop Console for the ATEM Constellation.

It's been a long time passed since the last entry in this post, so I'd like to get an actual update on this thread, as I'm looking forward to investing in an audio Console to use with the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO. Despite the Fairlight Desktop console being expensive, I still consider it the best solution - if it is supported. Could I share the usage with Resolve (same Ethernet network), then the investment has a different light.
I can't understand that dedicated consoles are available for video mixing and camera control, still nothing for the Audio section. Like others, I consider the Fairlight Desktop Console would be excellent (and ca. same price level as the Video and Camrea Control) hardware to fill the gap.
Dear BMD sales engineers, are there any plans you can share with us? (the sales link on your homepage does not work) If not, I'm interested: What is your (business) reason behind it?
