Ultimatte Smart Remote 4

Hi,

we just purchased an Ulitmatte smartremote 4 but have troubles starting it.
After we plug in Power the fan starts running and the "ultimatte"-writing starts to glow blue. After we press the power button the power button glows blue, the machine beeps a few times and after half a minute the "alt" and "file clear"-writing light up green and orange. But we don't see anything on the Display, even an external display doesn't show anything.
We tried to connect it via ethernet with the Ultimatte 12, tried it to connect via an switch to the ultimatte, but everytime we have the same phenomenon.
Is there any step we missed?

Make sure you have the latest software loaded on the SR 4 ver(1.3) and the Ultimatte 12 ver (1.3)

I downloaded 1.3 but how can I install it, if the Smart remote doesn't show anything? The Display is always black.

If you don't see the Ultimate GUI on either the Smarte Remote display or the external display, then it's time to send it in for repair.
