I'm setting up a system in a recording studio environment where I'll need to connect BMPCC 4Ks in recording rooms to an ATEM Mini Pro Iso in a control room. HDMI lines will be going through wall panels, and I'm concerned about signal integrity and reliability for both video signal as well as camera control. Would HDMI signal boosters be recommended in this scenario, and will camera control data be passed through?
'Till now, I've only run video around the place via SDI which has worked well, and I had originally thought that I'd just convert the camera output to SDI for longer runs and reconvert to HDMI at the Atem. But I'd really love to preserve camera control if possible...
