Micro Converter Not Found

I have now received my 2nd Micro Converter (HMDI to SDI). I am wanting to check the settings for it. I have downloaded the latest drivers (v7.5). It keeps telling me converter not found. I have tried windows, Mac, multiple cables and multiple PCs. I sent the first one back as it was suspected DOA. But the 2nd isn't working either. I have also tried previous version 7.4.1. I don't know where to go from here. I looked into the Device Manager and I do not see anything BlackMagic. If I look at the Device Manager and plug and unplug and plug in again, nothing changes in the Manager.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same problem.

To me it looks like you are using a charging USB cable instead of a data USB cable.
