Welcome to the ATEM software for Windows!
This package contains: ATEM Software Control, a software control panel for your ATEM switcher; ATEM Setup Utility, a utility to set the IP address of your switcher and upgrade it's software; and Blackmagic Media Express, an application to allow video capture from your ATEM switcher. This update also includes Blackmagic UltraScope software, a utility for use with USB 3.0 based ATEM switchers that provides waveform monitoring scopes on compatible PC's.
What's new in ATEM 4.1.2
• General performance improvements including enhanced Media Express compatibility
I wonder if this fixes the h.264 sync issues with the tvs.

I wonder if this is also a "non firmware update" update too (like 4.1 to 4.1.1). In other words... it just updates the software only (it would make sense if it is just fixes to Media Express)

readme says to update the internal software of the switcher via USB cable...
i REALLY hope this fixes the "input goes out of sync and shifts left" problem...will have to wait until monday to try it...

I'll do the upgrade soon. The other firmware updates say the same... however with 4.1 to 4.1.1 no firmware update was prompted/needed.

Borken: It's no issue of ATEM TVS itself, because recording with MxLight software works correct.

Correct... HOWEVER... the issues IS with Media Express. Therefore - if that part of the ATEM software has been fixed (as has been reported) then this upgrade should fix the problem for anyone who is recording using Media Express or the built-in capture feature of the ATEM Software Control

And... after uninstalling 4.1.1 from my computer - and installing 4.1.2 and launching ATEM Setup Utility there is no prompt to upgrade the firmware of the ATEM. Therefore... this is just a software upgrade (which makes sense). Unless you have older firmware than 4.1 you won't be prompted to upgrade the firmware.

Oh wow, please let us know if the audio glitch is fixed. - I shot for an entire week, only to find out 140 hours of video is out of sync - that made my stomach churn. - I left everything at 3.5 because I kept having issues updating to 4.0 - the Atems would not take it. and they would just hang... I think that was 4.1 - newest release in the beginning of September.
I also captured to a hyperdeck, and an Atomos Ninja 1.
I had to backup my backup, good thing I did, because I did have some failures on transfer from the SSD to my backup hard drive. drag!
SO please report if anyone is up to 4.1.2 - and have no audio issues.
I took it for granted because we would always user Live Stream, and there were zero audio issues utilizing their capture card.
Thanks!
George

Has anyone used the H264 recorder/Media Express/4.1.2 combination yet? If so, any word on the audio/video drift problem having been sorted?
