Playback the recorded files from SSD

Hello!

I searched the internet but I couldn’t find an answer. Is there any way to playback the recorded footage from the ssd without having to disconnect the disk from the atem mini pro iso and connect it to a computer?

I have this setup:
- Atem Mini Pro ISO
- an SSD connected to the Atem
- Ethernet connection to a computer for accessing Atem Control Software

When the client asks for preview the recorded foootage, I need to disconnect the drive from the Atem and connect it to the computer. It’s not a very big deal but it’s a little frustrating and looks unprofessional from my point of view. Can I access the drive from Atem Control Software or something?

Thank you

I don't believe there is a playback mechanism for this purpose. The only thing that would do what you are asking is a hyperdeck or use a connected PC with OBS, VMix or Wirecast that can record/playback.

Best,

David

At least for the sake of avoiding physically moving the drive back and forth from the Atem to the computer, you could transfer the files via FTP between the SSD and a drive connected to the computer. It's not ideal, but it's one way to do it...

Just in case anyone lands here I found this how to record files wthout disconnecting the Media
Basically enable FTP over network
I connect a desktop but there are USB to Ethernet dongles available too for laptops without ethernet

You tube search How To Sync ATEM Mini Recordings Over A Network | FTP Tutorial
