What model switcher are you referring to?

Best,

David

atem mini whatever. the DNS entries are grayed out, and default to google... which won't fly here

why you need a special DNS entry in a atem?

or don't you know what a DNS does?

.

If you're streaming direct from the device it will need to access a DNS server* and not everybody can use google DNS.

Feels to me like a bug that the controls in the Setup application don't enable rather than a feature that is missing.

* obvious caveat that it won't if you manually go find the IP address

What's the status on this? We are a university and cannot change the DNS Servers just for streaming. I need to be able to enter a manual DNS address, and I am not in control about the network we are streaming on. For safety reasons, 8.8.8.8 is not used as a DNS server in our network.
This seems like a bad joke to me. Any device talking to the outside world needs to be able to change the DNS-Settings.

We still can't change it.

I had to switch to streaming with OBS from my state's Legislature, which has DNS locked down.
