Since the ATEM Mini Pro was released, I've asked many people why BMD has not made the input source for the USB-as-Webcam user-selectable (like they do with the HDMI Output, AUX ports on the other ATEM models, and I believe their newer Extreme).
BMD clearly knows how to do this -- they're doing it on the HDMI out.
And they're already going through the encoding process to encode a video to output as USB Webcam.
Can anyone "in the know" explain why this seemingly SIMPLE firmware/ & software feature has not been implemented?
In a nutshell: let users choose the video source for the USB Webcam on the AMP?
This would be immensely helpful, seems like a minor firmware & software enhancement, and has come up countless times in various forums.
