HUGE latency in video calls due to very high CPU usage

Hi community :)

Just wanted to hear if anyone has experienced (and solved:) this issue:

I am a presenter using ATEM Mini Pro ISO on a MacBook 16" with 64Gig ram - so plenty of power. I have connected a ZV-1 and my iPad to the ATEM to switch and PnP video when presenting.

Yet still when connecting the ATEM and using any video conferencing software (Zoom, Teams, etc) my CPU usage explodes (hitting the ceiling  ) and I experience video latency of 5 secs ++ No other software is running, and when I switch camera in web conf software to internal web cam, CPU usage drops down to normal rates (10-20% usage)

Naturally, this makes my entire ATEM setup unusable. Any thoughts would be strongly appreciated!

Well, I also get unusably huge latency with an ATEM Mini. I'll keep an eye on the CPU and see if it goes up. It seems to happen on some calls and not others. I mailed support but they didn't get back to me!

Actually we did a long test call today and discovered disabling and re-enabling the camera in skype fixed it. I need to do more test calls!

I've used the Mini Pro and the Extreme (nether were ISO models) with Zoom a couple dozen times now, albeit with a PC not a mac. Have never seen any kind of latency or unusual CPU usage.

Try to change your graphics card? Maybe it's using the standard graphics card.
