So i have a PAL 16:9 SD signal feeding to our local DVB broadcaster but it is recognized as 4:3 in all televisions with aspect ratio set to auto. This can be corrected by inserting the WSS signaling on line 23 of the video, but it seems that no BM devices do this.
I purchased the teranex express converter that advertised supporting WSS but it seems that the input signal must already have WSS. It will not add it on its own. Only AFD (Active Format Description) that is not supported by many televisions.
Anybody know how am I going to broadcast the signal with WSS?
