live stream with hmdi cable over 10m, possible or not?

I am starting live streaming with a 3 camera set up (canon 5d) but would like the guy controlling the ATEM mini pro to be further away from the action than 10m. I have been told not to use cables over 10m, if I do the world will end, is there a way round this?

Fiber optic HDMI cables are reasonably priced now.

No adapters necessary.

Prior to this SDI conversion was the way to go. This does introduce more points of failure.

Fiber HDMI keeps it simple.
