Photoshop Plug-In for M1 MAC NOT WORKING FOR ATEM MINI LINE

PostSat May 08, 2021 10:45 am

So the photoshop plug-in to export directly to the media pool is not working with Photoshop version ( 22.3.1) which is the version that is supposed to work natively with the MAC MINI M1.

Ive tried to manually move the BLACKMAGIC Plugin directly to the Photoshop plug-in folder and still it does not show up in photoshop File- Export

The work around for me so far is I still have to work off of the INTEL version of photoshop ( 22.2) for the M1 and when I go to File--- Export I do see ATEM SWITCHER MEDIA POOL as a option.

Does Blackmagic entend to update the photoshop plug-in to work with the M1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. Fortunately, I have not given away my 'old' Intel-Mac.

I had a support conversation with Blackmagic about this topic. The supporter told me that - as I should read in the Textbox on page 100 of the manual - graphics upload is _only_ intended via the USB port and that what we see here is feature/expected behavior, not a bug.

My reading of page 100 is different though, but it seems that we must not expect a fast solution or a solution at all for this problem.
