Multi Projectors

PostTue May 18, 2021 7:26 pm

Does anyone know what simple software out there will let me output 4 streams of independent video?
I need it to goto multiple projectors for some driving scenes and have a black magic 8k pro card. Thanks.

Troikatronix Isadora? It's complicated a bit, but very handy when you use multiple outputs.

You're looking for media server software, specifically software that will interface with the Blackmagic card. On the cheap check out Arkaos, Resolume, Madmapper, etc.,

Another option would be straight playout from Resolve. Arrange the image in quadrants accordingly. Here's is a crude example of how a wide panorama could be extracted from a 16:9 rectangle.

None of this addresses the realities of blending or convergence.

Good Luck

There is also Pro Video Player (if you are on a Mac), but it is definitely not cheap: https://renewedvision.com/provideoplayer/
