Decklink Mini Recorder and HDMI input Ubuntu PC

PostThu Jun 10, 2021 6:30 pm

Hi I'm trying to get video signal from Ubuntu desktop PC but BM Setting doesn't recognize HDMI input at 1080i.

In Ubuntu control panel I set up my Intel integrated graphics with 1920x1080i@25hz option as display preset (as I know it's equal to 1080@50i) . Sending video output from HDMI matrix I see image without problems in a monitor and I'm able to capture video in 1080i with in an Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0. Same configuration but different device of BM capture family.

Decklink Mini Recorder lacks of format selection in BM setting and software recognizes improperly the input signal. I force it from media studio to 1080i but image it's showing artifacts as if the signal were out of range.

Finally I try a Raspberry pi forcing itself for HDMI output at 1080@50i and no problems with DL Mini Recorder.

If there is a solution, it is out of my hands. I do not understand the operation well.

Thanks
