ATEM ISO EXTEREME HDMI OUT AUDIO

PostSat Jun 12, 2021 3:09 am

Good evening guys, quick question.

Can I use the ATEM EXTREME as a video router, sending camera 1 out of the HDMI OUT 1 and camera 2 out of the HDMI 2 and keep the audio of each individual camera intact or will the audio be the general mix coming out to the unit.

Would setting the audio to AUDIO FOLLOW VIDEO help?

You can do the video part of it, for sure.

Not sure about the audio, but seeing as how audio seems to always just be there for both HDMI and SDI, it might work, so long as AFV isn't on.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I am not in front of the Extreme ISO right now, but I do think you can select e.g. Camera1 for Output1 and Camera2 for Output2 in the settings. That should route audio/video unchanged to the two HDMI output ports.
