ATEM Mini Extreme ISO MIC1 is receiving only left channel

we recently bought the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO and while using it we found that when we connect an external audio output into MIC1 on the ATEM Extreme it only receives the right channel.
When we connect the same output to MIC2 we revieve both the left and right channel.
We checked this issue with ATEM Softare Control and by connecting a Headphone to the Headphone output on the ATEM Extreme.
Is there a setting that could cause this kind of behaviour or is the ATEM Extreme maybe faulty?
