Keying on Aux Outputs?

Is it possible to use the upstream or downstream key on the aux outputs on a 1 M/E?

Also on the DSK what does TIE do?

For your first question the answer is no if you want to have anything else than the program mix in the background. If you only want to add a logo in the corner you can use the clean feeds to get separate outputs.

Second the tie lets you tie the dsk to a transition made in the pgm/preview side. When you make a transition between for example camera 1 to camera 2 at the same time you are taking dsk1 on air.

So if I want a little replay bug graphic in the top right corner using a DSK but on 2 different cameras using aux outputs will that work?

No. You can't use 2 keyers with different backgrounds with the 1 M/E.
