Im trying to combine video from an hdmi feed and audio from an audio mixer into the new BMWP HD. Audio mixer has an AES out option. I understand that both feeds need to go through the one SDI cable. What extra kit do I need to achieve this. Help appreciated

Sounds like you need the HDMI to SDI mini converter. This can take either analog or AES audio.

Thanks I have that converter already as the BMWP HD only has a SDI in. How do i combine audio and
video from separate devices to HDMI. The original BMWP had a separate XLR connector which was useful the new version does not. I’m thinking that the BMWP HD might not be the right device for me and the Atem mini more suitable which is a shame as I liked the original device

Hi! What you need is a Mini Converter Audio to SDI. It embeds your AES audio and SDI video into one SDI signal. If your video is coming from a HDMI source, you will need to convert it to SDI with your HDMI to SDI mini converter

So - you want to take the existing audio from the hdmi source and combine with AES audio from the external mixer ? I thought you wanted video from the hdmi and audio from aes to combine to the sdi ?
You have the "mini" converter ? And NOT the "micro" ?

I have the Web Presenter HD , so I know it's SDI

sorry for confusion. There is just video via hdmi and audio via an Allen and Heath QU 24 Mixer. Its a church setup.
