I have finished stage 1 of a GVG100 protocol control of ATEM for my own purposes.
I have only made it to do what I specifically need; that is to use an edit controller with a couple of decks in a 'linear edit suite' for cuts, dissolves, wipes keys all controlled by the edit controller.
I use it for quick compile jobs etc, bypassing the need for ingests and other time consuming 21st century stuff.
The edit suite comprises
- a ATEM 2me production switcher
- a Panasonic AG-A850 edit controller
- a Panasonic AJ-HD1200A DVCPROHD deck
- a Sony JH3 HDCAM deck
- a Sony HDW1800 edit deck
- a Blackmagic Hyperdeck Studio
...and other stuff that usually goes out on the road eg CAsparCG, Datavideo CG300 etc
If I get enough interest I can make them at a small price.
