I see them sliding off a few tripods as they appear to have no safety lock.

I really would love it, if BMD adds an optional zoom motor (similar to the Tilta Nucleus) component to the system, so we could use other lenses than the 5 current MFT power zoom lenses.

this release caught me by surprise. The good thing about that is that the Micro Cinema 4K release may catch me by surprise as well.

I like to use small camera/gimbal combos, and I had been thinking I would have a lighter Blackmagic camera for gimbal work by now. I finally gave up and got a gimbal that could hold my Pocket 4K.

The fact that this is MFT makes me think that if/when they release an updated Micro Cinema camera that it should also be MFT. That's a good indicator that I should be able to keep my lenses and can invest in the Meike lenses without worrying that I would not be able to use them with future cameras.

seems attractive at first sight. Lut button may works on this release ;)

I only regret lack of fiber input for pro version. Hope fiber mini-converter will work and support all new features.

Can we make any guesses how far away a Micro version is off? I'd love a Micro version of the new Plus but with a HDMI and an Ethernet port (and of course the USB ports). Plus a "Micro Studio Converter" - HDMI in, ethernet out for power and control. Or a "4 x Micro Studio Converter" 4 x HDMI in , 4 x Ethernet in a rack mount :)
