Affordable Portable Monitor 4 Mini Extreme ISO Multiview?

PostWed Aug 04, 2021 2:39 pm

Trying to build a new kit and am wanting to ensure I get a portable monitor that will work for me. I am not (as of yet) trying to build it into a rack or case. I want to be able to have it in a laptop bag or maybe a pelican kit. Plop on table and connect via HDMI (potentially to Micro or Mini if needed). I would prefer something 14"-17". I don't want to lug around 20+" and under 14" will be too small. I don't think the rack mount solutions from BMD will work for me right now either. Obviously budget is a concern as always. Does anyone know if the USB-C output can feed MultiView to a USB-C Monitor? I'm thinking no but I' not sure. I'm also not sure about the refresh rate and any potential HDMI handshake EDID issues. Does anyone use something like the ViewSonic VG1655?
