ATEM Mini Pro - No SSD or other HDD recognized on USB port

I am struggling to record the stream via USB. Have checked all forms but couldnt find any hint sorry.
Problem:
No drive is ever recognized by ATEM Software Control.
The drives i tried are all formatted ExFAT and are working without issues on different Win10 Laptops.
USB cable is USB 3.1 Gen 2.
Tried normal HDD and SSD.
Does the HDD/SSD need an external power supply to work with ATEM?
