I've been searching for some more specifics on the mobile tethering option as a backup for our stream but can't seem to find the information I'm looking for. Maybe y'all can illuminate this.
I stream our church service out of a school and their network connection sometimes throttles way down but does not disconnect. I was thinking that mobile tethering might be a good backup, but still want to use the ethernet if it is stable since it will be a better speed when it isn't throttled down so much. So here's the question:
Will the ATEM switch to the mobile tether when the speed of the ethernet connection is so low that it starts to cache or does it have to be all the way disconnected for it to switch over?
If it does switch over before the ethernet is completely disconnected, can you set a data rate threshold for when it will switch?
