My current setup:
The Imac 2017 that we have does not have HDMI ports. (this is my huge problem)
These are my current ports:
Connections and Expansion
3.5 mm headphone jack
SDXC card slot
Four USB-A ports
Two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports with support for:
DisplayPort
Thunderbolt (up to 40Gb/s)
USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gb/s)
Thunderbolt 2, HDMI, DVI, and VGA supported using adapters (sold separately)
10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45 connector)
Imac usb to amp usb out. Camera one to HDMI one. (We only have one camera).
I use the camera as my main output and I cannot get propresenter 7 to show as my 2nd camera.
I am really struggling with words today. I'm just beyond frustrated trying to get this all to work. It should be simple with one mac and one computer.
I would like to use my usb out for an external drive to record. We also livestream to facebook which is not a problem at this time.
ok, you need to generate 2 videos from this iMac.
it's pretty easy, provided you use the latest OS.
NOTE: this is tested, I use this setup everyday.
get yourself the following :
https://www.owcshop.eu/catalog/product_ ... ock-p-2006will generate 3 thunderbolt ports out of one from the mac
2 of
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B083KV1BR3will generate an hdmi port each.
I do recommend you add
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B095WRQK4Lto the above cable, glued on the hdmi connector plastic casing, as that thing gets
HOTHOT
if you need more HDMI ports, you can always add some of those:
https://plugable.com/products/usbc-6950uewhich add 2 displays each (they need the displaylink driver installed)
