ATEM setup 8.6.3 not working for ATEM Television Studio

I use an ATEM Television Studio that I can configure and use with ATEM Software Control / ATEM Setup version 7.5.2 on Windows 10.
Recently purchased ATEM Mini PRO, so upgraded to ATEM Software Control to version 8.6.3. This works fine interfacing to the Mini PRO, however, the ATEM setup 8.6.3 no longer recognizes the ATEM Television Studio when connected via USB. I tried several 8.x releases, and all had the same problem.

Media Express has no problem recognizing and using the ATEM Television Studio on the same Windows computer, so this I am sure the USB interface is OK.

On an Intel Mac, ATEM Setup 8.6.3 works fine when connecting to the ATEM Television Studio. This seems to be a Windows specific problem.

Is this a known issue?

I have a TVS HD and an old TVS (original)
The TVS runs happily with ATEM Software 7.5.2 (on computer #1) and the TVS HD is happy with 8.6.4 (computer #2)
If I'm right (I've done a few tests), it is impossible to pilot both from the computer with 8.6.4, as this would force an "update" of the older TVS and hence obliterate the H264 recording feature of the latter (with 8.6.X, the TVS USB connection is no longer seen by the ATEM Software).

Is this correct ?
The only workaround to access both from a single computer would be to downgrade the TVS HD to 7.5.2 (assuming I want to keep the H264 recording feature of the TVS) ?

We have an old laptop for the original TVS.

It doesn't get used often but even a really old machine can handle the software and record H264 files with it.

There very little overhead.

The alternative would be to dual boot with two installs or a VM but it's a bit messy especially if you aren't used to VMs.

Anybody tested if any post-8.6.4 version has re-added USB H.264 recording with the original TVS device ?
I guess that recent versions have only focused on adding features to newer equipment, but it doesn't harm to ask, right ?
