How to setup - Reference in/out 2021

Times for me to assemble each products in final mobile working system. Many of parts have ref in/out inputs.

In theory, they are good raisons if BMD offer this option...

Any returns for pros and cons ?

Unless you run a proffesional TV studio i wont bother to connect them.

Proper sync will eliminate record drift.

Frame syncs add delay.

some more questions :

- do BMD use frame sync or genlock

- do needs for sync increase with high resolutions (4K, 8K...)
