Hyperdeck Studio 4K Pro - Choppy video and freeze

Hi!

I'm trying to play just "ordinary" 1080p 25fps H.264 MP4 files from an Samsung EVO 870EVO SSD disk on the Hyperdeck Studio 4K Pro. Some of the videoes will play really "choppy", and then it will eventually freeze.

Anyone else found this happening to them? It will record just fine, but I'm really confused to why it wouldn't be able to play simple h.264 files?

Were the H.264 videos you were trying to play recorded on the HyperDeck?

Because playing out externally encoded H.264 videos from a computer is not well supported as discussed in various other threads about this: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=149057

H.264 as a codec supports a lot of different profiles and variations, so there isn't really such a thing as "ordinary" H.264 files.
