ATEM Camera Control Monitoring functionality

Hello all,

I would like to know more about about the capabilities of the "Camera Control Monitoring" feature in ATEM Switchers. Details in the manual are fairly limited, but I understand this option is mainly to be used in combination with either the

- ATEM 'Camera Control Panel', or the
- 'DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel'.

Pressing the the control stick on the ATEM 'Camera Control Panel' switches the source of the AUX, as does pressing the left and right arrow-buttons on the 'DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel', as you can see in this video by Ryan Somerfield at 4m:50s;

Is there any other way for us to use this functionality in conjunction with our PTZ camera's (JVC)? They obviously are not controlled by the ATEM CCU, but use a dedicated JVC PTZ controller, but maybe there's a way to adapt the system to communicate with each other? Maybe over RS422 or something? Any insight would be appreciated!

Peter

Alright, so I figured something out;

If you are on the 'Camera' tab of the ATEM software, and the Camera Control Monitoring is set to an AUX, pressing the camera number on top changes the AUX output to that specific camera. Pressing the number buttons on your keyboard doesn't do anything, so does anyone know if there is another way of switching this output, other that via the software or with the aforementioned hardware panels?

sorry, I am looking for information on how to configure the "preview" button on the camera control panel. I have seen several posts that talk about configuring an auxiliary output of the ATEM but I can't find the process to do it. thanks
