MotorZoom Objektive für BM Studio Cam 4K Pro

PostThu Jan 20, 2022 12:05 pm

Hello,

we bought three Studio Cam 4K Pro for our Livestream-Setup.
We want to use them with Zoom and Focus Demand along with motorzoom lenses.
The selection of motorzoom lenses is currently still very small. In this thread I would like to start an MFT Motorzoom lens collection that works with the BM Studio Cam 4K Pro.
Here are the ones I know:

Panasonic LUMIX G VARIO PZ 14-42 mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH. / POWER O.I.S.
Panasonic LUMIX G X VARIO PZ 45-175 mm / F4.0-5.6 ASPH. / POWER O.I.S.
Olympus 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 ED M.Zuiko EZ Micro 4/3 Lens
Olympus 14-42mm M.Zuiko f/3.5-5.6 Digital ED EZ Lens

In terms of native Micro 4/3 lenses, the four lenses you mentioned is the complete list. This is because those are the only 4 power zoom lenses that were ever released for the Micro 4/3 lens mount.

Are there alternative motor zoom lenses that I can use with an adapter on MFT?

Not really good ones.. Welcome to the MFT lens mount issue!!

Rather would have a B4 mount on those cams.. Would have been so much better..

Are those LUMIX lenses really that horrible?
How do they compare to e.g. a Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm f2.8 ASPH II (which I'm mainly using on my pocket 4k) in a well lit environment?

the power zooms have no fixed speed and therefore actually unusable for broadcast
