Sony a7III Setup for ATEM Mini Pro

PostTue Apr 26, 2022 4:11 pm

I tried connecting my Sony camera to the ATEM mini Pro ISO, using the Video setting on the camera. And nothing comes through the HDMI connection on the ATEM. However when I select anything other than Video, I get a connection and can see the camera out put...the problem is that I don't have the video auto focus.

Is there a way to use the a7III in video mode with the ATEM?

Or is there a preferred setup when connecting Sony a7s?

Thanks,

Check the HDMI output settings in the camera setup menu, in particular the HDMI Resolution setting which should probably be either 1080p or 1080i since the ATEM Mini does not support 2160p (4K) video input signals.

On the Sony A6000 .mp4 is the only codec that will pass a video signal into the ATEM, the others don't work. Try setting your option to that.
Resolve Studio 17.4.5, Threadripper 24-core, 64 GB RAM, 2 TB NVMe, Nvidia FE RTX 3080 10 GB. ATEM ME ISO.
