Media settings for playback on Hyperdeck Studio HD Plus

Hello.
What are the correct setting for create content for playback on the Hyperdeck Studio HD plus?
I installed DaVinci Resolve Studio 18 Beta 3 on my computer, and I tried to make content with the H.264 HyperDeck setting on the deliver module, but the result content doesn't playback correctly on the HyperDeck.
I obtained the best results, using the MP4 format (using QuickTime the results are worst), but i can see some image glitches on the playback with the HyperDeck. The exported video plays correctly on the computer, but not in the HyperDeck.
I tried some changes in the rate control setting, but I don't obtained good results.

How do you make contents to play on the Hyper Deck?

Playback of externally encoded H.264 content is not well supported on the HyperDeck models (they can generally only play back H.264 videos recorded on the deck itself).

You typically need to use either ProRes or DNxHD for playback of externally encoded videos. See various earlier threads about this:

But DaVinci Resolve Studio has a preset for the HyperDeck. The malfunction of this preset is a bug or a beta problem?

I'm not really sure which HyperDeck models the new HyperDeck H.264 export presets in DaVinci Resolve 18 are intended for.

If it's any consolation, I couldn't get the HyperDeck export preset to work on either a HyperDeck Studio HD Mini or a HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro (the results were slightly better on the 4K Pro, but the playback was still not smooth).

Perhaps this is a beta-level issue with Resolve 18 or maybe it works with some other HyperDeck model, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I would stick with ProRes or DNxHD for playback of externally encoded video clips for the time being. Both of those codecs should work fine, and they have a much more tightly constrained set of encoding options than with H.264.

With HyperDeck firmware 8.1.1 installed and using the latest version of DaVinci Resolve 18, I was able to export video clips using the HyperDeck H.264 preset and get them to play back smoothly on both a HyperDeck Studio HD Mini (up to 1080p60) and a HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro (up to 2160p60).

With FW V8.1.1 I have not had any problem playing files created using the Hypeck preset in resolve 18, nether for H264 or Prores. Everything plays back perfectly using both codecs.

Replying here to possibly help others who use the Hyperdeck mostly for playback. I've generated a pair of Adobe Premiere Pro / Media Encoder presets which have worked for me for both h264 and ProRes.
