4K streaming is coming!?! Here?!

When will the bmpcc line be able to output 4k to streaming devices? Sure it can record 4k+ all day but for live it’s extremely limited to it’s 1080p hdmi output.

With the current models never. The HDMI output is restricted to HD only.
BMD would have to release an updated pocket camera line with new hardware for this.

Doesn’t look like that has changed. The HDMI output that is. Was hoping I could get a 4k output to my 12 G video assist and a 4K hyperdeck. I know they have 4K TVs getting HDMI. Shouldn’t be hard to get a full 4K capable HDMI output. Is it at all possible to get a USB-c video out? Need to buy another camera and this was a big concern for future proofing my system. Considered going with the broadcast G2. But I am in harsh environments and go through cameras every couple years most likely. Plus I want the super 35 sensor

"USB-C Video" is neither HDMI nor USB but DisplayPort. Only the connector is USB-C. Devices that support both USB and DP over USB-C need a USB-C crosspoint switch that connects the data line to either the USB controller or the GPU which is nothing that can be done in software.
